CHEER CLASSES, CLINICS & PRIVATE LESSONS
Our Kids Cheer Classes in North Ogden are high-energy, confidence-building classes designed for children ages 3-18yrs who love to move, cheer, and shine. These fun and engaging classes introduce the fundamentals of cheerleading, including basic motions, jumps, chants, rhythm, coordination, and simple routines, all taught in an encouraging and age-appropriate environment.

Cheer Coach
Peyton Larsen
Peyton Larsen brings energy, leadership, and experience to our cheer program! She has taught dance and cheer for the past 5 years, working with athletes to build strong fundamentals, confidence, and teamwork.
Peyton cheered competitively at Layton High School and went on to cheer at Salt Lake Community College, where she served as a flyer and team captain. Her background gives her a well-rounded perspective on technique, safety, and leadership—both on and off the mat.
Known for her positive coaching style and high standards, Peyton is passionate about helping cheerleaders grow their skills, love the sport, and shine as confident athletes and teammates.

Advanced Cheer Training Program

Varsity Ready Cheer Training
Approx. Ages 15+
Thursdays 7-8pm
Our High School Cheer Prep class is designed for athletes who want to be tryout-ready and competitive at the high school level. This class focuses on refining technique, increasing strength and flexibility, and mastering the skills high school cheer teams expect to see.
Skills athletes will work on include:

Advanced cheer motions & sharp counts (clean technique, power, synchronization)

Jumps (toe touch height, form, timing, multiple jumps)
-
Stunting skills (flyer technique, basing, cradles, prep-level and extension prep, safety & spotting)
-
Tumbling (round-off back handspring prep, back walkovers, strength & drills based on ability)
-
Performance & presence (facials, confidence, projection, crowd leadership)
-
Tryout readiness (quick learning, memory, stamina, coachability)
-
Team expectations (work ethic, accountability, leadership, positive attitude)
This class helps athletes stand out at high school cheer tryouts by building strong fundamentals, polished performance skills, and the confidence needed to succeed at the next level.
Cheer Skills & Strength
Approx. Ages 12-15
Thursdays 6-7pm
Our Junior High Cheer Prep class is designed to help athletes confidently transition into junior high cheer by focusing on the exact skills teams look for at tryouts. This class builds a strong foundation while introducing higher-level expectations in a supportive, fun environment.
Skills athletes will work on include:

Sharp cheer motions & counts (precision, timing, clean arm placement)

Jumps (toe touch, pike, hurdler, jump technique & height)

Basic stunting skills (flyer positioning, bases, spotting, safety)

Beginning tumbling (cartwheels, round-offs, back walkover prep as appropriate)

Cheer technique & performance quality (facials, confidence, projection)

Tryout skills (learning routines quickly, memory, coachability)

Cheer Prep helps athletes prepare for junior high and competitive cheer expectations. This class focuses on polish, power, and performance while building leadership and confidence.
